The Mottram Hall "Tigers" Junior Programme is run all year round by the PGA Professionals. Arron Buckley is the Junior specialist and has run the "Tigers" for the past 10 years bringing many promising juniors through the ranks.
Tri-Golf
In conjunction with the government and "The Golf Foundation" in the winter of 2005/2006 the Professionals visited five local primary schools using "Tri-Golf" equipment
- this involved using specialist plastic clubs designed for youngsters between the ages of 5 and 9 for them to experience golf for the very first time at school. Endorsed by Nick Faldo, the "Tri-Golf"
initiative has proved successful nationwide. All children who experienced "Tri-Golf" last winter were invited to Mottram Hall in April/May 2006 to attend a Golf Festival.
The interest which this generated DOUBLED the number of classes that we were running and these continued throughout the summer months.

Involvement
Building on this success we have now been invited to visit ALL 30 Primary schools in the Macclesfield area over the next three years. Local business are encouraged to get involved with sponsorship as Sport England will match-fund any monies raised
