Junior Golf

The "Tri-Golf" Junior programme with local primary schools is in full swing with a "Golf Festival" scheduled once again in March 2010 where children can experience various golf skill challenges. After the festival they will have the opportunity to join the Mottram "Tigers" programme that runs throughout the summer.

UPDATE - The Grand Final was held on Friday 12th march 2010 with Prestbury School victorious. 2nd place went to Nether Alderley and in 3rd place were Dean Oaks from Wilmslow. All children took part in four skills challenges - one driving range, one chipping and two putting games.

There are limited numbers of places available (maximum 8 per class) In the Summer they are typically held on:

Wednesday's - 4.00-5.00pm & 5.00-6.00pm

Saturday's 11.00-12.00am, 12.00-1.00pm, 1.00-2.00pm, 2.00-3.00pm, 3.00-4.00pm & 4.00-5.00pm

Sunday's 11.00-12.00am & 12.00-1.00pm

At the end of the 8 weeks they can put what they have learn't into practise with optional "Par 3" course challenges held at the Adlington Golf Centre near Poynton.

In the Winter months a reduced schedule is run subject to weather conditions.
