Junior Golf 2011 / 2012

The "Tri-Golf" Junior programme in association with the Macclesfield Sport Partnership and the Golf Foundation began again in September. Visiting 16 primary schools between September and March 2011 with cluster competitions leading to a grand final to be held at De Vere Mottram Hall where the winning school will qualify for a national final.

UPDATE - Last year's Winners Prestbury got off to a good start and won their cluster competition in October at De Vere Mottrram Hall with St. Vincents from Knusford winning their cluster competition held at

Mobberley in November.

A reduced Winter schedule will run from January 2012 with two classes taking place each month on Saturday's and Sunday's from Janaury to April. There are limited places with times as follows:

Saturday's

11-12am and 2-3pm Maximum 8 per class

Sunday's

10-11am Maximum 8 per class

£58 for 8 x 1 - hour sessions

In the Summer and Autumn classes are held on:

Wednesday's - 4.00-5.00pm & 5.00-6.00pm

Saturday's 11.00-12.00am, 12.00-1.00pm, 1.00-2.00pm, 2.00-3.00pm, 3.00-4.00pm & 4.00-5.00pm

Sunday's 11.00-12.00am & 12.00-1.00pm

At the end of the 8 weeks the children can put what they have learn't into practise with optional "Par 3" course challenges held at the Adlington Golf Centre near Poynton.
